The eScrip program provides a new and exciting way to help the Springhill Elementary PFC without any expense to you! Join the growing number of Springhill families who are registered with eScrip.

Parents, teachers and friends of Springhill are encouraged to participate in our eScrip program. Many parents have already responded enthusiastically to our eScrip program, a program that enables small contributions to add up to big results. It is an automatic way to earn money for the PFC. Here's how it works:

How Does the eScrip Program Work?

Parents, teachers and friends register as supporters with the eScrip program, using the online registration available on the eScrip Web site or you can call eScrip at (800) 254-5404.

When registering, select Springhill Elementary (Group # 137331069) as your designated organization and register your credit cards, ATM/debit cards, or your grocery club cards.

Once registered, a percentage of all purchases made with eScrip merchants will be given to Springhill Elementary automatically. So the more you shop with eScrip merchants--whether at the grocery store, at the mall or on the Internet--the more the PFC will receive. A list of participating eScrip merchants is available online through the eScrip Web site.

About three weeks following registration, you will receive a notice of cards registered and Springhill will start to receive a monthly report by mail from ESI with your merchant donations. The PFC uses eScrip contributions for enrichment programs, computer equipment, supplies and other important items.

How Can You Track Your Contributions?

After receiving confirmation that you are registered, send a request for a user name and password to supporters@escrip.com to set up your "My Scrip" account. With "My eScrip," you may view your monthly statements, track your personal contributions, and manage your account online. Your monthly statement lists all of your purchases with eScrip merchants and tells you how much has been contributed to Springhill Elementary.

With "My eScrip," you can also register new cards, make sure that your registered cards have not expired, update the group you have selected to receive contributions, and personalize your password.

eScrip offers a Platinum VISA credit card

The card has no annual fee and is automatically registered with eScrip. Up to 2% of purchases made with the eScrip VISA will be contributed to the PFC, and if used at participating eScrip merchants, the purchase gets both the merchant and the VISA earnings. Apply online at www.escrip.com.

Shop Online

If you shop online, make sure you visit www.escrip.com and download AutoTrack, a free program that assures that you earn rebates for the PFC from every purchase you make with participating merchants. Once you install AutoTrack, you are not required to go to www.escrip.com first. Shop anywhere online and if it is an eScrip Online Mall merchant, our PFC will receive that contribution automatically.

Attention Albertson's Shoppers

Albertson's Community Partners Program is not part of eScrip, but works like Safeway's program. To register your Albertson's Preferred Savings card, visit www.albertsons.com, click on the "In the Community" link, click on the box entitled "Albertson's Community Partners" and follow the instructions to register your card. To maximize contributions, each household should register and shop with just one Preferred Savings card. If you have been issued a replacement card, please re-register in the program with your new Preferred card. Unlike Safeway, you do NOT have to renew your registered card every year.

Yes, you may list all household family cards under one supporter ID. If both spouses have the same credit card number, you only need to list it once. If they have different card numbers, list all card numbers in the database.

Can card registrants support more than one organization?

Yes, the donation can be equally split up to three ways. You can easily select up to 3 groups during your initial online registration, call 1-800-254-5404 or go to My eScrip at www.escrip.com to update your account information online.

What about airline miles and other rewards associated with my Safeway Club Card?

You will continue to earn airline miles, special bonuses, and other rewards associated with these cards. The eScrip donation you earn has nothing to do with the other benefits that you currently receive. This is the beauty of registering all the cards you frequently use.

Will participation in the eScrip program prevent me from getting my usual club card discount at the cash register- even if I pay with a check or cash?

No, all club card discounts remain in place and run in conjunction with our program.

Is it safe to give our credit/debit card numbers out in this way?

Springhill has over 200 registered eScrip supporters. We have not experienced any issues or problems with the eScrip program regarding security of our supporters' personal data. eScrip will not license, sell, exchange or distribute any specific information about its participants to any third parties who are not directly involved in the program. By participating, you are authorizing eScrip to use information relating to your registered card transactions solely for processing rebates and providing cumulative reports to your organization. No purchase details are given to eScrip.

How do I renew my Safeway Club Card?

If you participated last year, don't forget to renew your Safeway Club card to continue receiving Safeway contributions. Have your Club Card # available and call 800-801-4973 or visit www.escrip.com and click on YES!RENEW. You must renew every year by November 1st.
